These  rabbits grow to be about 13 lb in weight

Because they are so large they are not suitable for cuddling by children - in fact most giant rabbits find it uncomfortable to

be picked up - they like it much more to be petted and stroked in the same way you would a dog.

Huge rabbits are ideal as house rabbits - we recommend you have a large dog crate for your rabbit to sleep in if it is going

to be a house pet - if it is going to be kept outside the minimum size for a hutch is 6' x 2' with regular access to an enclosed

garden.

Most of our big rabbits are litter trained - we use  wood pellets - they are very absorbent and you can't smell rabbit even

when standing right next to it. (we also use the wood pellets for pony stables and the cats for the same non smell effect) -

the used wood pellets/rabbit dropping are very good for the garden too.

We only put BRC rings on rabbits by request - it is only necessary if you intend to exhibit.

Feeding instructions will be given when you purchase your rabbit - we recommend a measured quantity of pellets rather than the muesli type mixes - it may seem boring but the rabbit can't sort through pellets to only eat the bits it likes - its healthier - good hay must be available all the time and a limited amount of green foods.

Water is very important - we use water bowls rather than drinkers - we find on hot days the giant rabbits can't drink enough quickly enough from the drinkers and if they dehydrate they die!

Please make sure you have a good vet - one that knows about rabbits - in the event of your needing help speed is of the essence as rabbits once sick die very quickly if not treated. Check your vets knowledge to treat your rabbit before you need it!

I am sure you will have lots of other questions - other rabbit breeders will give you conflicting advice but we will tell you what works for us - after that it is up to you.
